To start press any key…hmm…where’s the “ANY” key?
Posted: March 2, 2013 Filed under: Reading and Writing | Tags: Blog, blogging, wordpress theme 13 Comments »HOLY CRAP! I spent the whole day previewing themes, trying to find something that works for me. (Nobody told me working on a blog was so addictive!)
When I finally settled on Clean Home I thought that everything was fine. In the preview everything looked okay. But then I activated it and WordPress moved all the widgets into the Header thingy and they all looked GIGANTIC!
It looked so crazy! I was like, “Shit, I hope no one saw!” 
Anyone visiting would have thought, “This chick is on crack!”
But I managed to fix it straight away.
Anyway, so what do you think about the new theme choice? I like a minimalist look. I was also going for less clutter and easier navigation.
I’m on the fence about keeping it on infinite scroll. Do readers like that? Or is it annoying? I don’t have the option of a footer, so there’s nothing to worry about there.
I think I’ll live without the featured images. Not sure if they’re really necessary anyway. Live and learn.
I’m thinking it’s good for now. Give it two months or longer and see how I like it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is minimalist and much neater than the other style. Yes, looking for a theme is time consuming, you did well.

Hi, I like it, like you say, it is a clean look, very fresh. I did the same thing when I changed my theme over recently, and tried different themes out, widgets were all over the place haha. All the best
